We loved this in hardback and the cover is even more beautiful on the paperback. Set in the Suffolk countryside in 1946, this is a powerful story about what happens when a war ends. Alice Rayne’s husband Stephen returns to their crumbling home a bitter and angry stranger. Can she find the sweet man he once was and also save Oakborne Hall in a new changed world? Lots of twists and turns on a bumpy road and all with the stunning Suffolk countryside as a backdrop.
